The high demand has meant that the factory now uses all its capacity to produce Ford E-Transit to meet the demand from European customers. Ford's Otosan plant in Kocaeli is the heart of Ford's Transit production in Europe.
In the near future, the Ford E-Transit electric van can be experienced on European roads, and in this connection, Ford's worldwide service program, Ford Pro, will be launched. The service program takes care of customers in the transition to an electric future and will also make everyday life more efficient and productive for Ford van customers.

The Ford E-Transit electric van is praised for its advanced driver assistance systems and has already been awarded gold by Euro NCAP. Moreover, as a recognized and independent crash test authority, it has carried out extensive van tests.
The Ford E-Transit is offered in 25 variants and has class-leading battery size, range, and engine performance. E-Transit will be equipped with engine outputs of 184 hp and 269 hp, and the 68 kWh battery provides a range of up to 317 km - just as it can be charged from 15 to 80 percent in 34 minutes on a DC fast charger with up to 115 kW.
To better meet customers' high demand for electrified Ford models, Ford's Turkish factory, Otosan, is investing two billion euros (approximately 15 billion kroner). In addition, the number of employees will be increased by around 3,000 people to increase production sufficiently.
The famous Ford Transit Custom will also be available in a fully electric version from the end of 2023, while an entirely electric Transit Courier will be available in 2024. In addition, these will also be available in fully electric passenger car variants in the form of Tourneo Custom and Tourneo Courier.
