Following the new Opel Astra GSe and Opel Astra Sports Tourer GSe introduced at the end of September, Opel is now introducing the next electric powertrain. The new Opel Grandland GSe is a powerful SUV and plug-in hybrid in the C-segment that blends sports car performance with flair, adaptability, and electric four-wheel drive.

The new Opel Grandland GSe is a powerful, capable, and beautiful vehicle. Opel is confident it will appeal to clients who desire an electric SUV and a fast automobile.

The new Opel Grandland GSe is powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engine and two electric motors, one for each axle. It has a total output of up to 221 kW/300 horsepower. The Opel Grandland GSe plug-in hybrid can be driven in 100% electric mode and offers an electric four-wheel drive. The acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h is 6.1 seconds, and the top speed is 235 km/h or 135 km/h in electric mode.

The new Opel Grandland GSe, like the Opel Astra GSe models, has innovative shock absorption and handling. The front axle has a McPherson suspension, while the rear axle has a multi-link axle, which offers Opel's sporty SUV a smooth and steady road holding when braking in corners and accelerating at high speeds.

The new Opel Grandland GSe is distinguished by its dynamic SUV design, as evidenced by the new front Opel Vizor, as well as various components that represent the GSe hallmark: 19-inch wheels, a new sporty design on the exhaust pipe, a GSe logo on the tailgate, and much more.

The interior is distinguished by AGR-certified Alcantara front seats, which ensure that both the driver and the passenger have a dynamic drive with excellent comfort and ergonomics.
