The XS's in-house tuners have fine-tuned the new Opel Astra plug-in hybrid. The Opel Astra Plug-in Hybrid's showpiece is finished in high-gloss white paint with black accents and has a system output of 133 kW (180 hp) and 360 Nm of maximum torque.

The Ultimate five-door features cutting-edge technology such as the Pure Panel digital cockpit, adaptive Intelli-Lux LED pixel headlamps and AGR-certified sports front seats. The project began as part of a collaboration with XS Carnight to strengthen Opel's reputation as a high-quality, reasonably priced German tuner brand. The newest generation of Opel Astra Plug-in Hybrid was unveiled to the public at last year's tuning meeting at Lake Wörthersee, and fans went wild.

The XS Carnight team modified the Opel Astra Plug-in Hybrid with a GRINDS air suspension and height sensors from the "Carstyle Me" collection while leaving the original shocks in place. The show-stopping 20-inch forged wheels were provided by the American company RVNT Forged, but they are only for display. The show car was decked out in racing decals. Opel provides a sticker set for Astra's sides and windshield.

In honor of Opel's 160th anniversary this year, XS Carnight and Opel have collaborated to present "20 Years of XSCN," an anniversary celebration featuring the show car Astra. The next events will occur on September 17 at the XS Carnight on Austria's Lake Wörthersee.
